Open the Organization menu and choose Customization. From here you set how Mokapen looks for you: which cards you see on Home, the order of the menu, which view the calendar opens on, and what the button with your avatar does on lists.
The records stay as they are. You are not creating fields, not changing who can see a private contact, not turning a module on or off. You are deciding the working view.
The page is split in two. At the top, Navigation & filters: users / teams filter, menu, calendar and, for you only, Home. Below, a block for each active module, where you set the kanban card, list columns and charts. If a module is off, that block does not appear.
You need the Small plan or higher. If the plan does not include it, the card opens on the upgrade message instead of the editor. Card, columns and charts need the Medium plan.
If you are the Owner, the first thing you see is the For the organization block. Use it when you want to prepare Mokapen for people who have not chosen anything of their own yet: a new salesperson already finds the week on the calendar, the menu in the order you decided, the avatar filter already set on tasks. Below that is For me, and it is your personal copy of the same cards, plus Home.
If you are not the Owner, the organization block is not there. You only work in For me. You can still adapt menu, calendar, filter and home to how you work: the owner's choice stays the starting point, yours replaces it only for your user.
Open the card you need. This guide is the overview; the precise gesture is in the dedicated guides:
On the filter, menu and calendar pages, next to the title there is a badge. If you came in from For the organization, the badge says Organization settings. What you save becomes the starting point for anyone who does not yet have a preference of their own.
If you came in from For me, the badge says Settings for me only: the change applies only when you sign in.
Mokapen chooses like this, every time you open a list, the menu or the calendar. First it looks whether you have saved something personal. If yes, it uses that. If not, it looks whether the Owner has saved a default. If that is missing too, it uses Mokapen's behaviour: the calendar, for example, opens on the week and shows tasks, appointments and deals.
When you work «for me only» and the owner has already saved a default, at the top of the page you read who did it and when. You need that to understand what you are starting from before you overwrite it. If that line is not there, nobody has prepared a default yet: you are starting from Mokapen, not from an owner's choice.
The Save button writes only the level you are on. Until you press it, lists, menu, calendar and home stay as they were.
Revert asks for confirmation and deletes only that level. If you revert your settings, you go back to the owner's default, if they have one. Their default is not touched.
If the owner reverts the organization, colleagues who had already saved their own version keep seeing it: their personal choice stays stronger, until they revert too.
After saving, reload the page you want to check. The menu, list or calendar picks up the new setting on the next load.
Think of a salesperson who opens Mokapen every morning and needs to see their deals for the week, not the whole company's list and not the tickets. The Owner can prepare it like this.
Light, dark, and the choice between horizontal and vertical menu, are not on this page. You find them in the user profile.
Scroll below Navigation & filters. For each module that is on (Activities, Sales, Tickets, a module you created), you find three actions, already in the personal scope:
Here too, if you save, your version applies only to you and replaces the organization's.
The default for everyone, instead, is not set from this hub: it is set by whoever administers the module, from that module's settings. For orders, for example, open Orders and then the card, the columns or the charts. You need the Medium plan and the module on.
The detail of each choice is in the guides Card, List & Columns and Charts.
Custom fields are a different job. They are added from the module settings, not by dragging them here. The guide is Fields.
I saved my version and I no longer see the owner's. That is the expected behaviour: yours takes precedence. Open the same card from For me and press Revert. You go back to their default, if they have saved one.
I cannot see «For the organization». Only the Owner sees that block. You can still open For me and set filter, menu, calendar and home for your user.
I click the card and upgrade opens. The plan does not include that feature yet. Filter, menu, calendar and home are in the Small plan. Card, columns and charts are in the Medium plan.
I pressed Save but the colleague still sees the old menu. Check the badge. If it said Settings for me only, you changed only your view. For the team you must enter from the For the organization block and save again. If the colleague already has their own version, that stays: they must press Revert on their page.
Did Revert on the organization delete colleagues' preferences? No. It only deletes the default. Anyone who had already saved «for me only» keeps seeing their own version.
Where do I change light/dark or the vertical menu? In the user profile. From Customization you do not set the theme or the menu direction.
I want to add a field, not only move it into a column. New fields are created from the module settings, guide Fields. Here you only decide which of the ones that already exist to show on the card, list or chart.
A module we use does not appear at the bottom of the page. It is off in Applications, or your role does not include it. Turn it on and come back to Customization: the card, columns and charts block arrives together with the module.
