The Currency page defines the organization's currencies and which one is the company currency (default). You use them on opportunities, product/service prices, quote and order line items, certain entity properties, and in reports that convert amounts.
Path: Organization settings → Sales → Currency card. A shortcut is often available from the Actions menu of Quotes, Orders, or Opportunities (Owner only).
Adding a new currency requires a suitable Premium plan (sales tier). Without one, the button opens the upgrade flow. Editing, setting as default, or deleting remain available to anyone with owner access to the page.
The list shows code/currency, exchange rate relative to the company currency, and the date the rate was last updated.
Rates come from the country/system catalogue; in the typical UI you do not manually enter an arbitrary rate as in a forex desk.
For tax rates see the dedicated Taxes guide (another block under Sales).
Q: Why can't I add a currency?
A: You need a suitable Premium plan and the Owner role.
Q: Are currency and taxes the same thing?
A: No. Currency = money and exchange rates. Taxes = VAT/fiscal rates on products and documents.
Q: Where do I set the country?
A: In General → Information (also useful for default tax rates).
