Home is the page you open when you enter the organization. From here you decide which panes you see, in what order and how wide they are. The change is yours only: there is no organization default for home. Colleagues keep their layout, you keep yours.
You are not changing the data. You are composing the first working screen: priorities, due items, calendar, a chart. What you remove from home stays in the apps.
Open Organization → Customization. The Home card sits in the For me block, not in For the organization. You need the Small plan or higher. Without that plan the card opens upgrade.
The area overview is in the Customization guide. For the calendar pane's view and types use the Calendar guide.
On the left you compose home. On the right, Available cards: the cards you can still add. It is not a live data preview: it is the order and width the real home will use after Save.
Drag a card to move it. The on-screen order is the order on home. On each card, Width can be 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 or 1 (full row). Two 1/2 cards sit on the same row; a card set to 1 goes to a new line on its own. The trash icon removes the card from home and, if it is unique, puts it back in Available cards.
From the list on the right you drag a card to the left to add it. Until you press Save, the real home stays the previous one. Revert asks for confirmation, deletes your layout and restores the product cards (the non-optional ones). Optional cards you had added, for example a Chart / report, disappear.
You cannot save an empty home: at least one card must stay. Go back closes the editor without saving by itself.
You only see the cards allowed by your role and the modules that are on. Almost every card is unique: once it is on home, it disappears from Available cards. You cannot put two of the same. The exception is Chart / report: you can put more than one, each with a different entity type, chart and owner scope.
Already present by default, if the module is there:
To add, if the module is there (they stay in Available cards until you drag them):
If a module is turned off, the related card is no longer shown on home even if it was in the layout.
On the Chart / report card you set three things before saving. Without the Medium plan the card does not appear among Available cards.
Each copy is independent: a deals chart on the left and a tasks chart on the right can sit together. If you leave type or chart empty, on home the pane has nothing to draw.
I dragged the cards but home did not change.Save is missing. Until you save, the layout stays the previous one. Then reload home.
Can I impose the same home on the whole team? No. Home is personal. To align menu, calendar and users / teams filter use the organization defaults, described in the Customization guide.
Revert also removed the chart I had added. Yes. Revert goes back to the product cards and drops the optional ones, Chart / report included. Pull it again from Available cards and configure it.
I cannot find Tickets due. It is an optional card, and it appears only if the Tickets module is on and your role includes it. Drag it from Available cards and save.
Two 1/2 cards stack instead of sitting on one row. Check that both are really 1/2 and that a wider card is not in between. A card set to 1 takes the row on its own and pushes the others down. On a narrow screen Mokapen may still stack them.
The chart on home is empty. On the Chart / report card choose Entity Type and Charts, then save. Without those two choices there is nothing to draw. You also need the Medium plan.
Can I put Today and tomorrow twice? No. It is a unique card: when it is on home it disappears from Available cards. Only Chart / report can be duplicated.
I cannot see Unread email. That card is in the Large plan. Below that plan it does not appear among Available cards, even if the rest of home is in the Small plan.
I cannot save an empty home. That is intentional: at least one card must stay. If you have removed everything, put a card back from the right or press Revert.
The colleague does not see my home. That is the expected behaviour. Each person composes their own from For me. You cannot publish your layout to the team.
