Zoom

Zoom in Mokapen imports webinar registrants as contacts. The direction is one way: from Zoom into the CRM. Past webinars enter on the first sync, then updates follow. Field mapping is ready. It is not the button to open a video call on an appointment: Meet and Teams connect from the appointments module, not from this page.

Overview: Integrations. For the transcript of a call recorded by another tool (Fireflies, Fathom, tl;dv and the others) use that tool’s guide, in the meetings section.

Requirements

  • Zoom account that hosts the webinars, with permission to read registrants.
  • Mokapen Medium plan.
  • Permission to create contacts in Mokapen.

Connect and what to expect

User menu → IntegrationsZoom and authorize with OAuth. After connecting, Mokapen reads the webinars and creates or updates a contact for each registrant. It does not send Mokapen contacts back into Zoom. A registrant who does not appear is, in order: webinar not yet synced, Zoom account different from the one authorized, or the registrant without a usable email.

A registrant already in the address book with the same email is updated, not duplicated, if the mapping finds the match. If after the first sync you see duplicates, stop before a second run and clean the address book: re-running does not merge them.

When it is not Zoom

  • You want the Meet or Teams link on the appointment. It is set in the appointments module. Zoom webinar does not create that meeting.
  • You want the call text. You need the recorder integration (Fireflies, Fathom, MeetGeek, tl;dv, Grain, Read.ai, Jamie), not webinar registrants.
  • You want participants of every Zoom meeting, not webinars. This integration reads webinar registrants. It is not the log of all meetings.
